Couples/relationship therapy: $220 per 55-minute session

I require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or miss a session without notification, you will be charged the full session fee ($200 for individual sessions, $220 for couples sessions). I understand that emergencies happen and will consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. This policy ensures I can offer your time slot to other clients who need support and allows me to maintain my practice sustainably.
-
I do not accept insurance or bill insurance companies directly. I am an out-of-network provider, which means you pay for sessions at the time of service.
-
Contact your insurance company and ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits. Here are some helpful questions to ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and have I met it?
What percentage of out-of-network therapy sessions does my plan cover?
Is there a limit to the number of sessions covered per year?
Do I need a referral or pre-authorization?
What is the process for submitting superbills for reimbursement?
-
I accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards. Payment is due at the time of service.
-
I maintain a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please inquire during your consultation call to discuss availability and eligibility.
-
Under federal law (the No Surprises Act), healthcare providers must give uninsured and self-pay clients a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before services begin. As a self-pay client, you have the right to receive this estimate showing the expected cost of your therapy services. Before we begin working together, I'll provide you with a Good Faith Estimate that outlines my session rates and expected frequency of treatment. Please note that this is an estimate—the actual cost may vary if your treatment needs change or if sessions are added or cancelled. If you're charged more than $400 above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about your estimate during our consultation.
Getting Started
-
You can request a free 15-minute consultation by filling out the contact form on this website. During this brief call, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you have, and determine if we're a good fit to work together. If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule your first session.
-
Yes! I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation call for all new clients. This gives us an opportunity to connect, discuss your needs, and ensure that my approach aligns with what you're looking for in therapy.
-
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals for our work together, your history, and any immediate concerns. I'll also explain my therapeutic approach and answer any questions you have about the process. Most importantly, we'll start building a safe, trusting relationship where you can begin your healing journey.
-
Our typical therapy sessions are 55 minutes. I also offer 90-minute sessions upon request, and is recommended for couples/relationship therapy.
-
Most clients meet weekly, especially in the beginning of therapy. As you progress, we may move to biweekly sessions depending on your needs and goals. Some clients choose biweekly sessions from the start based on their circumstances. However, I find that meeting less frequently than every other week doesn't align with my therapeutic approach, as consistent connection is essential for building trust, maintaining momentum, and supporting deep healing work. We can discuss the right frequency for you during our consultation.

-
I use Zoom's HIPAA-compliant platform for our video sessions and Sessions Health as my electronic health record (EHR) system to securely manage your clinical information. You'll receive a secure Zoom link to join our sessions—no special software download required if you use the web browser, though the Zoom app offers the best experience. All you need is a device with a camera and microphone (computer, tablet, or smartphone) and a stable internet connection.
-
Yes! Research shows that telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns. Many clients find online therapy more convenient and comfortable, as they can attend sessions from their own safe space without travel time. This can be especially beneficial for those dealing with anxiety, transportation barriers, or busy schedules.
-
If we get disconnected, I'll call or text you at the number you've provided. We can troubleshoot together or switch to a phone session if needed. Technical issues happen, and we'll work through them together.
